Y.S.PARK 339 Small Size Great Perfomance
The 339 has be become the gold standard in precision geometric cutting. Like all Y.S. Park cutting combs, 339 features a signature shortened tooth to make parting simple and a comfortable, flexible body that's easy to grip thanks to the built in, evenly spaced air holes along the comb's length. Each air hole is spaced 1 cm apart also acting as a measuring device. Extremely lightweight and perfectly weight balanced, provides stylists with incredible control and accurate results over every stroke. Ultra refined teeth are gradually pitched for precision cutting and detail work, gripping even the finest of hair perfectly. Heat resistant up to 220°C to prevent scoring of the teeth base when working quickly with the hair. No other comb in the world combines so many features into one package.
NOTE: The Carbon version contains carbon fibre, giving it full anti-static properties.
Gradually Decreasing Pitch: Even tension = Even combing. While combing, the tension at the bottom of the comb is higher than at the top. In order to achieve even tension and therefore even combing, the distance between the teeth is gradually narrowed by 1/100 mm from the previous tooth. The human eye does not catch that difference. These combs are marked with the expression “GDP” (gradually decreasing pitch).
Common combs don't keep equal tension (photo A & B).
Y.S.332 creates an equal tension through the entire length of the comb in a single stroke (photo C & D)
